97 points James Suckling: "Attractive aromas of cherry, dark mushroom, bark and walnut follow through to a full body with lots of ripe cherry and berry character in the center palate. Firm, chewy tannins draw you down the palate. Extremely long. Drink after 2023 and onwards."
18+ points Jancis Robinson: "Lustrous mid ruby. Brooding cherry fruit with top notes of spice, minerals and a hint of soy sauce. Gorgeous mouth-filling fruit with fantastic firm, chewy tannins. Succulent, perfumed raspberry notes on a gripping, tactile finish. Fantastic balance." (WS)

Terroir
Lush field on the slopes of Montalcino, with strong clay and marl elements. Good ventilation and sun exposure ensures optimal ripeness each year.
Weather
A cold winter was followed by a relatively fresh spring, with occasional rainy spells, and balanced temperatures in the summer, with great temperature variations. Occasional bad weather never compromised the grape quality, but rather provided the plants with the perfect amount of rainwater, and led to no significant issues. A combination of fresh and dry nights in late ripening allowed us to achieve a perfect maturation.
